It is my personal belief that when clear instructions and effective training are given, people will know and be able to do what is expected of them.

The CHURCH is the School of Christ.  As such, it should be controlled with wise and kindly discipline.

The CHURCH is also a FAMILY; let there be law and order in the household, tempered with tenderness and discretion, otherwise the FAMILY fails of its mission and becomes a reproach rather than a blessing to society.

I am honored and humbled to serve as the Pastor of the United Community Baptist Church.  God’s promises have richly blessed my father and mother, the late Father Connie Mobley & Mother Larnie Mae Mobley, the Organizers of this church.  They have given birth, life, nurtured and prayed for the ministry of United Community Baptist Church for more than three decades.

It is my joy to celebrate you for visiting our website. Because of family and friends like you, we are encouraged to continue to fight the good fight of faith.

As we continue to build an effective ministry team it is my prayer that you cease not in praying for us.  For I firmly believe in the motto set: Pastor + People = Progress for the Kingdom of God.

So, I charge myself, each one of the disciples of United Community Baptist Church family, and each one of you who is a part of the Body of Christ to: heighten the commitment level; develop a genuine character; strengthen your ministry skills; get the right philosophy of ministry that it is God, not human activity; it is His Word, not human wisdom; people is our focus, not programs; our environment is the corporate body, not individualism; and the process is spiritual reproduction, not spiritual addition. The reason is I know that Jesus is soon to return.

Thank you for visiting, thanks for sharing, thanks for caring.

Remember, the best is still yet to come!

Empowering Families,

Pastor Connis M. Mobley

 Jeremiah 2:7 (KJV)
And I brought you into a plentiful country, to eat the fruit thereof and the goodness thereof; but when ye entered, ye defiled my land, and made mine heritage an abomination.

Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless. And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you; As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction. Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness. But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen. KJV
